I'am my art, and my art is me.

The official flyer for the long awaited show.

In my last post I spoke on how I had lost the poetry and how I found it. After re-reading it it would seem I was a bit to vague. What I meant was with music, as with anything worth it; it begins its life as a thought, which then transforms into a sentence, which is then turned into a work of art. We find many different ways to express such complex art, a husband cooking for his wife to convey his love, a son making a mother's day card for his mother For me it's using a sequence of words to express an emotion, which in turn creates a poem. I then take that poem and adjust its words pattern and flow (which is the melody) to fit the Music I'm reciting it over. In the last post i realized i forgot to have poetry in my mind before I attempted to make a song.

perhaps its the complex inner workings of my brain that makes seeing my work disrespected so difficult for me. I cannot pass it off and let it be, When someone disrespects my art i feel as if they are attacking me Take for example the flyers I have printed out , just as the ones you see up top, and I gave them out. One person, who took one, was quite clear that they did not want it and proceeded to rip it up. This angered me to a level I cannot accurately describe.

The reason I believe it angered me so, is due to the level of work and the amount of love I put into my music, writing and all around art. It takes a piece of my heart for me to put these emotions on paper and go the extra mile to share them with people, so when that art is disrespected I look at it as my heart has been disrespected, and that is something i just cannot stand for.

I try to be as understanding and respectful to art forms I do not get. I however will never question the dedication and passion it takes to create such works of art, so I expect people to treat my art in the same manner. Clearly my age is showing as the world does not whole heartily agree with me. That's all right though. Art no matter the form should be respected and treated as such. Such as humans should be respected and treated as humans, none of us have the right to demean art just as we have no right to hurt man.

I'm my Art, And my art is me.

The art of the soul.

Music is a hard thing to create. Especially on such a short time table, Somewhere along the lines of recording i lost what i used as fuel for so long, i lost the aspect of poetry. I have longed since  hold fast to my belief that my music is something of an art , and in the stress of rushing to finish the project i lost it.

Thats a very real and depressing aspect to note. in this world my music is everything, and poetry is the soul in which the music is built upon.  With out poetry you have no music, So in rushing and treating my project as if it was some hair burden i lost why i loved it in the first place and my heart was casted as a vagabond.
